When will LevelCredit shut down?
LevelCredit will shut down on January 6, 2027.  All accounts will be closed on that day.

What happens to my account before the shutdown?
Your account works as usual until January 6, 2027. You can still log in and manage your account, and we’ll keep reporting your payments to the credit bureaus.

What happens to my credit reporting?
Any rent or utility tradelines reported through LevelCredit will be closed in good standing with the credit bureaus when your account is closed.

Will closing my LevelCredit account affect my credit score?
Closing a tradeline may affect your credit profile depending on your individual credit history.  Credit score impacts vary and cannot be predicted.

Do I need to do anything?
No. If you do not take action, your account will close automatically on the shutdown date.

Can I continue reporting my rent and utility payments?
Yes, you can sign up with Self Rent & Bills to continue reporting your rent and utility payments. Note that new tradelines will be established.

What is Self Rent & Bills?
Self Rent & Bills allows you to report eligible rent and utility payments while also giving you access to additional credit-building tools — all managed through one Self account.

When can I sign up for Self Rent & Bills?
You may sign up after your LevelCredit account is closed. If you want to sign up before the shutdown date, you must close your LevelCredit account or reach out to our support team for assistance.

I canceled my subscription. Why can’t I sign up for Self?
Canceling your subscription isn’t the same as closing your account. You need to close your LevelCredit account before you can sign up for Self Rent & Bills Reporting, or wait until it closes automatically on January 6, 2027.

How do I close my account early?
You may log in to LevelCredit and close your account at any time before the shutdown date.  Go to your account settings and continue through the “Close account” process.

Will I still be able to log in after shutdown?
No. Once LevelCredit shuts down, you will no longer be able to log in.
